I have had a wide a varied career playing early and modern music and jazz improvisation.

I've recorded with all the London based period instrument orchestras and several others internationally. I play regularly with Gabrieli, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and the King's Consort, and chamber music with virtuoso trumpeter, Alison Balsom OBE.

Film includes Bedtime Stories (Disney), Elizabeth, Anonymous and Bill (Horrible Histories.) TV includes Howard Goodhall Big Bangs, Wolf Hall, The Spanish Princess, L'incoronazione di Poppea' and The Freddie Starr Show. Recordings at Abbey Road studios with Sir Paul McCartney and a live show with Sting.

Since 1997, I've been one of the most in demand Musical Directors and multi instrumentalist performers in London, most especially at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, where I've worked under 4 Artistic Directors.

I have played for the Royal family many times, including being the MD for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Service and at Her Majesties 90th Birthday.
